Wellness Classes & Exercise Equipment

At the Tri-Lakes YMCA you will find a full range of cardiovascular and strength equipment, an aerobics studio for group exercise classes and Water Exercise classes in our pool. Unless otherwise noted, all group exercise classes are free for YMCA members. No registration is required, so drop-in anytime!

Commit to be Fit Program

The YMCA Commit to be Fit Program is included in your YMCA membership fee. The Commit to be Fit Program is a 4-session program that will enable you to meet your goals most effectively.

Included in your Commit to be Fit Program:

  • A health and fitness center orientation
  • Four individual sessions with a health and fitness staff person
  • A structured, step-by-step exercise program
  • A chart of your progression throughout the session
  • A fun and efficient workout

Women on Weights

Women on Weights is a weight lifting class designed with you in mind. Whether you are young or mature, beginner or advanced, we can help you with our individualized group style personal training that is now being offered in the evenings and mornings. This 4-week program will cover strength machines, free weights, workout programs, and proper lifting form. Classes meet twice a week and are limited to 6 participants--so don’t wait to secure your spot today!

Nutrition Counseling:

Meet with a Registered Dietician to measure your resting metabolic rate, receive a diet analysis, dietary recommendations, meal planning, shopping and cooking tips, label reading tips, recipe modification, and health recommendations for preventing chronic disease.
