Swim Lessons
Swim lessons are going on now. Two, four, and eight week sessions are available mornings, evenings, and Saturdays.
Private Swim Lessons
Private Swim Lessons are available through our Aquatic Department each session includes four half-hour lessons with an instructor. Semi-Private Lessons are available for 2 or more participants. Each lesson will include four half-hour lessons with an instructor. Participants must sign-up together.

Adult/Stroke Mechanics and Fitness Class
This NEW CLASS helps those who want to improve their stroke mechanics and build a fitness program utilizing components of the four competitive swim strokes the butterfly, backstroke, breast stroke and front crawl. This class will help you improve your overall swimming experience and introduce you to a different way to think about swimming and fitness. See Swim Lesson Schedule for class details.

Community Open Swim
Get in some laps, ride the slide, play in the fountains and have fun with your friends and family.
- During the School Year Open Swim is available during the hours the YMCA is open.
- Summer Hours may vary
- Pool availability is dependent on number of staff, swimmer type, and swimmer load
- All swimmers 12 and under will need to pick up a neck band from the front desk
See the lifeguards to take a swim test - Cost: $7 per child, $10 per adult
- Swim pass good for one visit only

Water Wellness Classes
The Southeast YMCA offers a variety of water aerobic classes at all levels of difficulty.
Class Descriptions
Shallow and Deep:
This class incorporates cardiac fitness, flexibility, and toning, using the benefits of the shallow and deep water to provide resistance and reduce impact on joints and muscles.
Active Older Adults:
The class is designed for adults of any age. Keep your spirit, mind and body healthy in this lively group of men and women. Workout is adapted to meet the needs of the class.
AFAP:
Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program- This class is designed for people with arthritis and other related conditions. This class gives you the opportunity to do gentle activities in shallow water with guidance from a trained instructor.
Surf's Up:
This class is perfect for those who want to improve strength, balance and cardiac fitness. Great for fit adults or those with mild joint sensitivity. Aspects of this class also include toning exercises for abdominals and upper body.
WEX:
This is an energetic class that incorporates cardiac fitness, toning, and flexibility into an hour of hopping fun. Use the water to provide resistance and reduce impact. Get your blood pumping with this intense deep water workout.
